At the beginning of the week, the 2 team captains or a delegate, will meet online. They will begin with a coin flip that determines draft priority between the two teams.
Winner decides whether they want to draft 1st or 2nd in Leg 1.
Team A: The team drafting 1st in Leg 1.
Team B: The team drafting 2nd in Leg 1.
The draft locks in the Player and their God for each of the first four legs using a snake format. For the final 5th Leg, the remaining players automatically step up and gain access to the remaining unpicked Gods.
Find Your Opponent: Once the draft concludes at the start of the week, check who you are paired against for your Leg and note their assigned God.
Coordinate Across Time Zones: You have 7 days to reach out to your opponent and find a mutually agreeable time to play.
Prepare Your Decks: Build and refine your decks. All decks must fully comply with the official GUL ban list.
Play and Adapt (Dynamic Deck Switching): You do not have to register a single deck list for the week. You can change your deck list freely between individual games within your match.
Example: If you are locked into Nature, you can play Amazons in game one, Control in game two, and Refresh in game three.
Legs 1–4 (The God Lock): Players in the first four legs are strictly limited to playing the single God that was drafted for them.
Leg 5 (The Final Player): Because 4 Gods were drafted in the previous legs, 2 Gods will remain unpicked. The final player for each team is granted access to both of the remaining Gods. They have the unique flexibility to change between these two Gods (and their decks) between the individual games of their match.
